$250 Entry Online Championship of Fantasy Football - Q&A
QUESTION
Years ago FFTOC Prizes were based on the number of entries. The FFTOC now offers guaranteed fixed prizes. Why the change?
ANSWER
The big issue here is newer Federal laws around Fantasy Football. We must promote guaranteed prize amounts that are not based on the number of entries.
---
QUESTION
Can you explain more about the Prizes?
ANSWER
All prizes are guaranteed. The prize structure is based on 225-250 people placing orders in the $250 event.
The FFTOC is not one of those huge contests with zillions of people.
In fact, as of 8/6/2008, 130 people have placed orders for the Online Championship. Talk about excellent odds.
With a small group competing, if you're really good selecting your team, you could be the one taking home $17,000 cash!
Also, don’t forget about the FFTOC Regular Season -- you compete against just five (5) teams to win your $500 Bracket Prize.
---
QUESTION
What new prizes did you add for 2008?
ANSWER
By popular demand, we’ve added a Best Week Prize. If you have the highest single week score in the Regular Season you’ll earn $2,500.00. See site for all the official terms.
---
QUESTION
What happens if the FFTOC $250 Online Championship event gets significantly more than 250 people placing orders?
ANSWER
Bottom line - If we greatly exceed 250 people (not teams), the $250 Online Championship Finals prizes will increase, and we will continue to do so up to a 350 person event limit.
Over the last three years the $250 entry fee FFTOC game has averaged about 250 people playing per year. We’ve seen little variation. Past participant rates may or may not be indicative of future events but we believe about the same number of people will play in 2008.
As of 8/6/2008 we’re at 130 people.
Also, from a technical perspective, the more people that play, the more brackets the FFTOC system will create and thus, the more $500 bracket winners we will have.

CONGRATULATIONS TO STEPHEN BEKAR |

So Who's Really the Best Fantasy Football Manager in the World? Could it be you in 2008?
We believe the best fantasy football manager isn't necessarily the person who can afford to take time off
from work and family,
travel to another city, drop $2,000+ into entry fees and add-on costs to win prizes that are a
fraction of the entry fee and compete
in a draft-style format
which was never meant to accommodate more than about a dozen people.
That's why we designed the FFTOC five years ago!
With no travel or online time constraints and a
format designed specifically for large groups of managers, the FFTOC's Online Championship of Fantasy Football
is the fairest way to play Fantasy Football and crown a true champion.
Now it's time to find out who's really THE BEST Fantasy Football Manager in the World. It's Tournament Time!
