If you still have problems, see the section below called "Make Sure You Are Getting Email From FFTOC."
AFTER YOU LOG IN
As soon as you log in the system takes you to your FFTOC roster of events.
This page contains links to all FFTOC events associated with your ID.
From the roster of events page, click on your event and you’ll go right in.
NFL WEEK #1
The NFL Regular Season kicks off on Thursday Night Sept. 6th. If you want to start a player in that game,
be sure you have them in your starting lineup before the game kicks off. If you don't want to start anyone
in the Thursday Night game, then you don't need a lineup in until Sunday before the games kick off.
LINEUP SUBMISSION TIMES
For all FFTOC and MyFFTOC events your starting NFL players must be
submitted into your starting lineup 5-10 minutes before their game kicks off. A starting
player is considered locked as of the kickoff of the NFL game in which he plays. Non-locked players in a starting lineup can be changed prior to the kickoff of the NFL game in which they play.
EMERGENCY LINEUP NUMBER
Your on-line MyTeam page should be your primary method of getting in your lineup each week. In an emergency only situation, you can call in your line-up from 9-11AM ET on NFL Sundays. The phone number is 919-306-1015. Personal identity verification will be required on all call-ins. The FFTOC is not responsible if emergency call-in volume results in busy signals. The emergency line is only functional Sundays from 9-11AM ET and only for emergency lineup submissions. Using your MyTeam Page is always the best bet. No voice mail messages will be accepted. No voice mail lineups or email lineups will be accepted.
To be fair, these rules will always apply.
MyFFTOC LEAGUES
Sometimes with friends in a MyFFTOC league, the Commish needs to apply a scoring adjustment to a team for whatever reason (bar bet, etc.). If you are a Commish and need this option during the season, go to your Commish Office and select the Show Managers option. Look for the "Scoring Override.”
SUBMIT A LINEUP
From your team page, you’ll use a YELLOW button and a GREEN button.
In a nuthsell, the process is as follows...
1) You press the "Click to Select Starter" link on your team page
2) You get a pop-up list of players, highlight a player
3) Press Yellow (select button) at the bottom of the pop-up window
4) Press Green (save button) on your team page
That's it. Now here's more detail...
Just think PICK and SUBMIT. PICK and SUBMIT. PICK and SUBMIT.
You start by clicking on a positional link. With no team saved, your team page looks like below:
When you press [Click to select starter] a pop-up pick list of available players will appear. Highlight the player you want and then press the YELLOW button at the bottom of the pop-up window to PICK your player. Continue in this fashion until you have picked all the players you want to save. At this stage, your team page might look something like this:
Next, press the GREEN “Submit Your Lineup” button on your team page and your lineup will be saved. Your lineup
changes are not official until you press the GREEN button and submit them. Each time you submit your lineup, you
get an email confirmation.
TEST TO VERIFY YOUR LINEUP IS SAVED
After you save your lineup via the GREEN submit button, log out of your account. Then, log back in and
go to your team page. Your saved players will appear. If you only see the [Click to select starter] links, you did not
save your lineup. Your lineup
changes are not saved until you press the GREEN button.
Also, examine and keep all your email lineup confirmations!
Each time you submit
a lineup, the system will send you an email confirmation.
If you don't get the email, it suggests one of four things:
1) You did not save your lineup properly.
2) You may have an email
spam filter on. Be sure your email filter accepts
all mail from support@fftoc.com
3) You do not have your correct email address on file. Log in and
go to 'Edit Profile'
4) The ISP or network dropped the message (unlikely). Try again.
TWEAKING YOUR LINEUP
You can change your lineup as much as you like (before a player's game). Last year, some guys changed
it every day leading up to Sunday. If a player is not locked, you can freely move him in and out of your lineup.
A player is considered locked as of 5-10 minutes before the kickoff of the NFL game in which he plays.
Non-locked players in your starting lineup can be changed up to 5-10 minutes prior to the kickoff of the
NFL game in which they play.
FFTOC BRACKETS
To find what bracket you’re in, log into your account and move around the game pages.
You have full visibility and can look in on your bracket and all the brackets in all the FFTOC events.
MyFFTOC brackets are private.
Don't see the yellow "Pick Player Selected" button
If the yellow button is not visible scroll to the bottom of the popup window and you should see it.
If not try expanding or maximizing the popup window's size and you should see it.
Some with this problem have figured out their tool bar on the bottom of their browser was
hiding the yellow button. They remove the extra tool bar and the yellow button shows up.
Some have had very limited PC display screen settings. By adjustig them to 800x600 or more, they then
were able to see the yellow button.
If you still don't see it, make sure you use the Internet Explorer Browser, not Avant
Browser or WebTV or others.
Worst case, use the Hot Line on Sunday and call
your lineup in (919-306-1015) during open hours.
Don't get Popup List of Players
Have a popup blocker on? Enable fftoc.com
and fantasyfootballtoc.com to pop windows up.
The only pop-ups we send are for your lineup.
Do not use Avant Browser or WebTV
Use a PC. Try Explorer. Even Netscape.
Is your PC is a very low end model with so
little memory it can't handle a list of 200 names?
Again, this only applies to about 0.2%. But it could be
you. Are you on a work PC? Some companies
restrict what your PC can do.
It may just be your PC is blocking JavaScript
or you have a pop-up blocker stopping the window.
Make sure JavaScript is enabled on your PC.
Try on another PC, a different location.
Do you have control of your PC setting (all
firewalls, etc) or ISP router? Maybe tweak.
Try at home not work. If you have a web-accelerator on, turn it off and try again.
Worst case, use the Hot Line on Sunday and call
your lineup in (919-306-1015) during open hours.
Lineup Page Hangs and Other Items
If you have a web-accelerator on, turn it off and try again. Some
with web-accelerators have found it causes problems due to
the accelerators forced file compression.
If you try to save your lineup and your browser just hangs, it may be because you have a very old browser
(e.g. Internet Explorer 4, IE 3, etc.). Or, you may be using an old verion of AOL. If you are surfing with IE 4.0,
for example, get a free upgrade from Microsoft, Internet Explorer 6.0 or newer. Do you have a firewall setting
stopping the page? Are you at work or using a work PC? If so the employer may have extra restrictions on the PC.
Try another location and another PC. Does you page have Flash loaded? It’s a free and very common
download. Without Flash, you will not see some of the graphics at the top of some pages, but that should
not stop the rest of the page. However it depends on your PC. If you don’t have Flash visit the
free Macromedia Flash Player Download Center. Also, try using a regular browser, not AOL's more limted browser
environment, especially when using a very old operating system and/or browser. Worst case, use the Hot Line on Sunday and call
your lineup in (919-306-1015) during open hours.
Make Sure You Are Getting Email From FFTOC
If you are not, you'll be missing your lineup confirmations, password confirmations and other key information.
See the list below if you do not already know how to remedy the issue with spam, bulk, and email folders.
ISPs
Some email providers filter messages based on content, subject line, or the sender's address and may put your email into the a bulk or junk mail folder. Please make sure @fftoc.com and @fantasyfootballtoc.com is on your "approved sender" list or "whitelist" and/or in your "address book." Occasionally an ISP will institute mail controls that block your email completely without your knowledge. We often do not even receive notice of such a block. The only solution to this problem is for you to be aware what triggers your ISPs blockage and make sure they understand you want to receive our email.
Spam Blockers/Filters and Email Software
If you have recently installed a new email software or a new program, make sure you check the settings. The "defaults" are often much more restrictive than you might wish. Here are some general suggestions to get started.
